The Federal Criminal Law Committee for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania is pleased to announce its next meeting and CLE program on Thursday, September 7th, 2023 beginning at 12 pm. This event will be hosted and sponsored by Morgan Lewis, located at 1701 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. FCLC Officer and Morgan Lewis Partner Zane David Memeger will moderate a panel discussion highlighting the False Claims Act—a very important civil enforcement tool that allows DOJ and the US Attorney’s for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to recover treble damages and significant financial penalties for each false claim made to the government in connection with a request for payment. Our panel of experienced FCA practitioners will address these issues and more!
